AN ADDITION AND PRIMARY SUITE REMODEL

A modern revamp and addition to a 1950’s cottage gave the homeowner much needed extra space for a growing family.  Adding almost double the footprint to the existing home, a new primary bath and bedroom with access to a new attic playroom allowed for much needed space for the growing family to enjoy the home more than just a summer beach retreat.

Adding a new second bathroom and mechanical area where an existing bedroom was, allowed for the existing smaller bath to remain a public area while the primary suite private.  The new bathroom includes a glass enclosed shower with wall to wall tile, custom bench nook and soaking tub area.  The new relocate primary bedroom utilizes large windows and doors allowing access to a refreshed deck while permitting much need light into the new bed and walk in closet.
