Glass, glass, and more glass!
WHOLE HOUSE REMODEL
This one-of-a-kind project stemmed from the homeowner’s desire to renovate a dated 1950’s ranch into an ultra-modern glass house. The existing home sat on an expansive lot with view of a neighboring lake. The basic footprint was left intact but added 3,000 sf, on the main level to allow for custom guest suites with all glass walls and primary suite to be constructed.
The existing brick was covered with a fresh stucco finish, and any new wall surface of the addition deemed a white metal panel. A floating concrete deck and stairs makes the outside just as desirable as the inside. Glass panels surround the deck and roof deck surface, allowing for maximum viewing. Hints of wood pop against the newly white exterior. Custom glass interior spiral stairs, full bar, and golf simulator room transformed the once cozy lower level family room.
